What an elegant display of a Bethlehem, Israel Stamped 1975 Cachet and Sterling Silver "PROOF" Medal of "Mary & Joseph nearing the completion of their arduous journey to Bethlehem". The reverse of the medal shows the "Star of Bethlehem and bears the appropriate quotation from the Gospel according to St. Luke".
Included with your cachet is a reference card describing the journey to Bethlehem, as well as a self-standing display wallet. The included letter from THE FRANKLIN MINT says that instructions to put the display together is included but I do not have that.
The Cachet bears the Official Christmas postmark of Bethlehem, the City of Christ's Birth.
The Sterling Silver coin is about 1-1/8 inches in diameter. It is in MINT condition.
Can you imagine this as a gift for a religious such as a Nun, or Clergyman; or for someone who the year 1975 holds a special meaning !!!!!
