This larger size Car Wash Token measures almost 1 1/2 inches across,is made of aluminum,and comemorates the 50 year anniversary of this car dealership in Cortland,N.Y. It is dated 1972.On the obverse it reads, "Ames Chevrolet" "Good for FREE Wash or Lube""Cortland ,N.Y.".On the reverse it reads,1922-1972,Exp. Dec. 31st. 1972,"50 YEARS OF SERVICE".This is not just another generic type token.This Token would be a nice addition to any collection,it is new but shows some light bag marks.The medal you will recieve is identical to the one pictured.
