Nice mintage of the Saint-Gaudens Gold Double Eagle. President Teddy Roosevelt commissioned Augusta Saint-Gauden to design a new American Coin in the tradition of the great Greek coinage. Considered by many to be the most beautiful American coin, this classic Gold Double Eagle is a beautiful and highly desirable coin. Expected final auction price: $2600-2700 Certified grading insures the value of this nice coin, making it an excellent choice for any collection.
