1866 British Gold Sovereign in good very fine condition. The obverse of the coin bears the portrait of Queen Victoria, ruler of Great Britain and the British Empire from 1837 to 1901. The reverse design features the crowned Royal Shield within a wreath. Die number 38.

Struck by the Royal Mint in .917 (22ct) Gold. It has a 22mm diameter and weighs 7.98 grams (.2354 oz troy).
